We are pleased to announce that Kate Yazel has joined our technology team as benefits technology project manager. Kate brings over seven years of experience in Human Resources, is specialized in employee benefits, strategy/administration, and is skilled in managing technical projects. She will be responsible for generating employee benefit enrollment portals, benefit resource center websites, and web data analytics. Her strong communication skills, operational analysis, and commitment to data integrity will support client teams throughout technology implementations.

Prior to joining the team, Kate previously worked as an Employee Benefits Strategist at XPO Logistics. She managed technical projects to harmonize various acquired benefit plans while supporting a global headcount of 95k employees. Prior to that she worked in Washington, D.C. as an HR Administrator, Benefits and HRIS Manager, and Employee Relations Analyst in the technology and public health industries. She is eager to be back on the benefits broker side, having previous experience as a Senior Benefits Analyst with Alliant Employee Benefits, and hopes to further align her benefits technology experience and industrial-organizational psychology consultative approach.

Kate graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She will complete her Master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology in December 2018. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, long jogs with her dog, and exploring Atlanta’s arts districts.
